About GHAF

George-Hill Anthony Foundation (GHAF) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious Foundation dedicated to vulnerable women and less privileged children. GHAF was conceptualized and registered in Nigeria on the 1st of August 2013. This was due to increase in vulnerabilities that affects women and children, especially, in Africa. The need to increase voices of gender-equity champions and support to less privileged children motivated the conceptualization of GHAF. The more the voices, the better for Africa’s society! GHAF seeks to protect the vulnerable in society, particularly, women and children.

We intend to promote social equity (for children) and economic justice (for women) through democratic accountability, which we intend to pursue through follow- ups on government policies and (tracking) expenditures targeted at the less privileged.

Board’s Statement

We are delighted to see the commencement of activities by our Foundation. Women are becoming endangered species globally, hence, equitable- gender- accountability cannot be downplayed by GHAF, as we are sensitive to gender- gauge that serves as development’s evaluation blinkers that should protect vulnerable women and children. Men alone cannot have an equitable world without women.

Unarguably, there cannot be a future without children, since humanistic engineering for a better world will be an illusion, if society negates responsible molding and protection of children. Our Board, therefore, shall encourage GHAF’s management in whatever way for the pursuits of an equitable world through (equitable) social engineering that gives succor for marginalized and vulnerable women, at the same time, pursues democratic and social accountability for children through fiscal justice. GHAF’s Board solicits for assistance and support in this direction.

Thank you!
